Workday Financials Analyst #514

Our client, is in need of a Workday Financials-Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Eugene, OR. The ideal candidate would have some background and experience in a Healthcare setting with the ability to apply data and analytical skills to drive improvements in forecasting accuracy, total costs of ownership and reductions in material shortages.
 
*Relocation Assistance will be provided for the ideal non-local candidate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the assessment of all supply resources (internal and external)
  • Define and develop materials planning strategies for optimizing total cost and minimizing component shortages
  • Lead supply chain network optimization projects and analyze supply / demand requirements
  • Assess capacity for current and short-term requirements
  • Participate in long-term capacity and resource planning
  • Analyze and resolve problems as they arise in a timely manner providing communication as needed
  • Successfully deliver solutions to clients across many Workday functional areas
  • Anticipate the needs of clients in order to offer recommendations
  • Communicate client feedback with Project Managers for follow up and action required
  • Demonstrate the configurations through the iterative development of prototypes
  • Manage commodities monitoring and informing key stakeholders of changes that impact, cost, quality, and delivery
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas
     
 
Education, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Certified in Workday Financial Management preferred
  • Two (2) years of Supply Chain Management experience including functional expertise in Workday Supply Chain Management (SCM), with specific knowledge in Procurement and Inventory
  • Three (3) years of experience with other Workday Financials areas such as Suppliers, Expenses, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Customers, Billing, Assets, Financial Accounting, etc.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with demand/supply planning software
