Sr. Project Manager (IAM) #1465

IAM Senior Project Manager 
Contract – 12-18 months
Location – Austin, TX (Hybrid 1-2 days in office)

Our Client is an elite organization relied upon to provide trustworthy, up to the minute data. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with strong Identity and Access Management (IAM)  experience to join this amazing team for several new statewide initiatives.  The current position will be responsible for managing components of highly complex and visible projects and program initiatives while leading the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) project for the IT Application and Security Sections.

This is a long term project that could be extended up to 3 years pending renewal approvals. Come advance your career with this reputable organization!

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
  • PMP certification is highly preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience working with complex technical project management initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver large Enterprise Systems Integration projects
  • Experience in running security projects, especially Identity & Access Management
  • Good background knowledge of IAM concepts (Single Sign On, MFA, Identity Lifecycle management, Privilege Access Management etc.)
  • Experience with IAM  tools such as PingFederate, Ping Directory, Azure AD/Azure MFA
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements from business divisions
  • Experience creating and maintaining project timelines, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Strong communication capability with stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate large group meetings with internal and external client resources
  • Skilled in creating and presenting executive level project communications
  • Ability to educate a variety of staff on standardized processes

General Duties:
  • Overall project management and governance to deliver work products on time and within budget
  • Develop, define, and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with end-users, key stakeholders and vendors to ensure ongoing status updates on deliverables
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects from initiation through delivery
  • Work across all IAM functional areas (e.g. MFA, Single Sign-On, User Provisioning, etc.)
  • Coordinate IAM staff for audit purposes including internal audit, external audit, and client audits
  • Maintain and manage timelines for multiple project deadlines
  • Continuously identify project risks and issues and proactively manage a plan to mitigate risks and resolve issues
  • Manage ongoing project contractual obligations, client needs and goals
