Telecom Sales Manager (Enterprise) Region – Southeast Pennsylvania Market (Hybrid role - 3 days in office) Full time position - Excellent compensation, incentives and comprehensive benefits package
We are currently recruiting for a Telecom Sales Manager for the Southeast PA area. Our client is a high profile Network Infrastructure provider and will ensure an exceptional and rewarding compensation package for the right individual. The position has a base and uncapped commission potential along with additional team incentives! The ideal candidate will have experience selling to Enterprise Clients (B2B), be local with strong connections to Fortune 1000 stakeholders. Wireless or Software Sales background with technical knowledge in a variety of areas
Strong cold calling expertise, hunter mentality with at least 6+ years in Telecom Sales with an excellent track record as a top performer
At least 2+ years of previous management/leadership experience
Good networking and lead generation abilities
Experience in presenting to and guiding team members in presenting to C-Level executives
Additional experience in site acquisition, site development, construction management, zoning, sales, business development is helpful
Established Fortune 1000 contacts is a must!
Education and/or Experience:
Knowledge of and local to the Southern Philadelphia, PA market
8+ years wireless/telco or software sales experience
BA/BS degree preferred (but not required)
Proven ability excelling at sales goals and quotas
Ability to guide and manage other team members
Professional relationship builder with exceptional communication skills and follow-up abilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible overseeing a sales team and assisting with closing opportunities for wireless services and products (Dark Fiber, Ethernet, Wavelength, DIA/Internet, Managed SDWAN, etc)
Experience in implementing sound sales strategies for Enterprise level clients
Responsible for leading and guiding a team of 5+ Account Executives
Ensure strong sales strategy development and implementation
Ensure strong training in creative sales strategies
Provide sales forecasting and revenue generation plans
Help team organize and prepare proposal packages for consideration of proposed deals/structures
Coordinate internal resources, including sales, leasing, zoning, regulatory compliance, construction staff for diligent proposals
Lead team through strong performance management by goal setting and accountability measures
May be required to travel across a specific territory – valid driver’s license is a must
