Channel Marketing Manager
Location: Houston, TX – National responsibilities (Hybrid)

We are currently recruiting for a Channel Marketing Manager for Houston, TX.  Our client is a high profile telecommunications provider looking for an experienced individual with a strong B2B background with previous partner channel marketing experience. Ideally someone who also has worked in an IT/technical or telecom environment is highly desired. This is a hands-on, proactive role in planning, managing, creating, and executing demand generation tactics and analyzing and interpreting campaign results.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for growing the channel partner sales division with innovative marketing campaigns
  • Work with customer experience and marketing teams to advance the partner relationship strategy by driving, growing and expanding sales through programs, MDF activities, joint promotions and other opportunities
  • Plan, develop, and manage a wide array of projects to support demand generation including: thought leadership, webinars, sponsorships and events, speaking engagements, e-mail marketing, presentations, and advertising
  • Develop innovative messaging, content and materials for all events and campaigns
  • Lead development of partner demand--gen initiatives, including drafting copy for partner-specific communications like omni-channel, sales presentations, landing pages and infographics
  • Generate demand and advocacy by driving sales growth
  • Support partner Technology Solution Brokers and Sub-Agents with co-branding campaigns
  • Identify and prepare guidelines and collateral educational materials for the sales team
  • Organize and prepare proposal packages for consideration of proposed deals/structures
  • Coordinate internal resources and be the liaison between partner sales executives and the marketing team
  • Generate sales strategies to be implemented both internally and externally for the respective region based upon local knowledge
  • Use applicable shared marketing dollars (NBA/MDF) to maximize reach and generate leads
  • Monitor channel marketing programs, record and analyze ROI
  • Develop actionable recommendations for improvement for new campaigns
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications or a related discipline
  • 7 years of experience in channel or partner ecosystem marketing
  • Marketing leader with a passion for channel/alliance marketing, including marketing automation, CRM, sponsorships, events, digital advertising, and other marketing tactics
  • Experience partner marketing technology stack and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools - Excel, Power Point, Teams and Word
  • Excellent communicator with a proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and strategy in terms that can be understood by a variety of audiences and education levels
  • Previous marketing experience in wireless or software related companies with sound ability to grasp technical knowledge in a variety of areas
  • Ability to translate technology features into marketing propositions that result in sales
  • Experience in presenting to C-Level executives
