Information Security Analyst – Policies and Processes
Contract – 24 months
Location – Remote, USA

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in common information security and risk management frameworks
  • Security + certification (at a minimum) is required
  • 2+ years of experience with NIST Risk Management and Cybersecurity Frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of information security practices, procedures, and regulations
  • Previous experience in a government agency environment is highly desirable but not required

Our client is seeking an Information Security Analyst with experience in Security Policy for a long-term project.  The position can be based in Texas or remotely, but the consultant must be located in the USA.

General Duties:
  • Coordinate with internal Information Security colleagues and various IT stakeholders to develop, update, and implement Information Security publications
  • Draft, review, approve, publish, maintain and update ongoing security policies
  • Coordinate documentation review periods with stakeholders and adjudicating stakeholder questions, comments, and recommendations with Information Security Office leadership
  • Assist with tracking the status of publications throughout their lifecycle
  • Support Information Security training efforts to educate stakeholders on new policies or updates
