Take on a pivotal role as the Procurement Manager, responsible for overseeing daily procurement activities at their Los Angeles area location. You will lead a team, manage supplier relationships, and implement process improvements to optimize operations.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • Strong financial analysis capabilities
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain and purchasing activities
  • Must have a background working in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Continuous Improvement methodology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of risk management principles
  • Proven negotiation skills

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the procurement team
  • Source, negotiate, and execute agreements to meet business requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Implement process enhancements and provide support for commodity management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of optimized processes as needed
  • Oversee day-to-day data collection and supplier improvement efforts
  • Drive changes in procurement operations to enhance efficiency
  • Identify and support initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving performance
  • Foster communication across departments to promote best practices and cost-saving initiatives
