The Customer Success Manager (CSM) will be involved in assisting the Sales and Recruiting teams with the primary focus on consultant/employee retention and customer satisfaction. The CSM should possess the uncanny ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a high-paced and fast-changing work environment.  The role requires positive partnering with Recruiters and Account Director through in-house and on-site contact to help clients meet their short and long-term business objectives, while meeting Genius Road’s strategic business goals. The CSM will also be responsible for networking online and offline with potential clients and candidates to promote our brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract and retain the best professionals.

The ideal candidate will have an appetite for learning, a strong customer service background and will serve as a liaison with an ability to guide clients through implementations, candidate onboarding, general account reviews, create ongoing personalized solutions and continuously identify areas for service improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years account management/sales support/marketing
  • Proven work experience in customer success, marketing, account management or a similar role
  • Experience using social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Some hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and time-management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must hold a customer-oriented mindset, be extremely organized, responsive and with a high attention to detail
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Must demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude at all times and a willingness to learn

Specific Job Duties:
  • Assist Account Director and Delivery Manager with current customer portfolio (clients and consultants) with ongoing communication to ensure strong retention
  • Foster relationships and uncover additional client needs while also generating referrals/leads to other clients and consultants
  • Assist with marketing activities which may include social media targeting, warm sales calls, competitive analysis/research, coordination of proposals (RFPs), in-office demonstrations, networking, etc.
  • Assist with client marketing correspondence (newsletters, campaigns, sales print materials, welcome packets, surveys, etc.)
  • Work with Account Director on potential target client list and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with delivery team to facilitate the placement process, which may include presentation of candidates, interview scheduling/preparation, debriefing, salary negotiation, reference verifications and onboarding activities
  • Attend college recruiting events, conferences, seminars to help strengthen company brand
  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks to develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales/recruiting database and record of critical events
  • Stay abreast of current staffing trends and recommend creative strategies
