Agile Project Manager
Contract: 12-18 months
Location: Remote, TX (Hybrid Role)

Our healthcare client, is in need of an Agile Project Manager for a long-term project in Austin, TX.
**The Contractor can work remotely but will be required to work ON SITE as needed in Austin, TX once Covid safety protocols are in place.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field
  • Must have worked on government contracts (state or federal) 
  • PMP certification (PMI) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - PREFERRED
  • At least 7+ years of experience working as a Project Manager (preferably in Healthcare Analytics)
  • At least 1-2 years working with Salesforce (or similar CRM Application)
  • Experience with general IT SDLC processes and on Agile Projects utilizing SCRUM (estimating, planning, forecasting)
  • Understanding of business and technical objectives of a project
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical designs and implementations as well as complex business processes
  • Some on-call support may be required depending on project phase
Our client is an elite organization relied upon to provide trustworthy, up to the minute data regarding infectious diseases and infection rates related to a variety of initiatives. The Consultant will be working to establish the project scope and schedule, establish Agile sprint cycles, manage risks and issues, and provide project status reports to executive leadership.

The project aims to create a data analytics platform plus data governance for a new and improved platform to facilitate the sharing, reporting, and analytics of the data collected and communicated accordingly. This system will also help to track the allocation of staff and resources throughout the state-wide network.
Daily Duties:
  • Facilitate meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective)
  • Oversee design and development work with SDLC artifacts to ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications while guiding and facilitating the SDLC process
  • Develop and manage project plans
  • Develop and make presentations as required to leadership
  • Document and manage risks and issues relating to all project matters
  • Ensure proper conflict resolution to move project forward
  • Provide weekly/project status updates (written and verbal)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Ongoing coaching of Agile practices to team members and business unit stakeholders
