WellSky Implementation Consultant
Contract: 6 months (+potential extension)
Location: Austin, Texas (will consider remote candidates in Texas)
****The Consultant can work remotely but must physically reside in the state of Texas****

Our client is expanding the WellSky Information Management System to include the Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) module. This project will enable providers to access a comprehensive database of information and referral contacts and automate critical program reporting. 

The Implementation Consultant (IC) will be responsible for coordination and execution of project activities during implementation and training of software.  The ideal resource will also ensure project success, satisfaction of contractual obligations, and transition of customers into a post-implementation support program.

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5+ years of experience working as a Project Lead/Implementation Consultant handling large-scale Enterprise implementations
  • At least 4+ years of experience leading end to end testing and UI testing; to include test strategies for custom, 3rd party, SaaS solutions
  • Good knowledge of systems requirements gathering
  • Sound Knowledge of table structure and relational database design/database diagrams
  • Ability to lead discovery and UAT sessions
  • Ability to prioritize enhancements/defects based on programs’ business need
  • Previous work with or exposure to government contracts (state or federal) 
  • Experience with general IT SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
  • Some on-call support may be required depending on project phase
  • Must possess good communication and organizational skills

Daily Duties:
  • Responsible for the oversight of the project and its deliverables including status reporting, tracking issues and risk, monitoring the project budget, appropriate escalation to leadership and resolving areas of concern
  • Work directly with project managers, project teams and customer personnel coordinating implementation tasks through the life cycle of the project
  • Conduct team meetings to ensure the implementation tasks of phases are executed properly
  • Deliver end-user training to maximize the use of the system
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, including business process workflow design and mapping
  • Ensure ongoing documentation of environment and updates
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
