The M&A Transaction Services team conducts due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on property and casualty insurance. The Associate will provide auditing and analytical support throughout the process.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years in corporate risk
Experience in private equity is a plus
Detail-oriented with strong confidentiality standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related technologies
Property and Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to travel (less than 10% annually)
Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
Critical thinker with effective problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with transaction teams to manage document workflows
Collect and track due diligence data from various sources
Review and analyze property, casualty, and financial documents
Update benefit plans and cost data for integration
Maintain databases and assist in preparing transition documents
Support the Corporate Risk M&A Diligence Team with various initiatives
