Microsoft Power Platform Developer Location: Austin, Texas (hybrid – must be local to Austin!) Contract Duration: 12 months
The Microsoft Power Platform Developer will design, develop, implement, and support solutions that expand and enhance our client’s Microsoft 365 Power Platform environment. This role will primarily focus on supporting the Invoice Tracking System (ITS) and related applications. The developer will utilize tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and other Microsoft Power Platform services to deliver efficient, scalable, and integrated business solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience working in Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
4+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
Hands-on experience integrating Power Platform with external systems and connectors.
Strong understanding of Dataverse tables, connectors, and Power BI integration.
Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience mentoring or training other Power Platform developers.
Experience with Power Automate Cloud and Desktop Flows, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Apps mobile applications.
Prior experience with State of Texas agencies, healthcare, or public health environments.
Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) and governance best practices.
Knowledge of extending Power Platform solutions using JavaScript, plug-ins, and custom connectors.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop, test, and document computer programs and business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Analyze user requests to determine feasibility, cost, and technical requirements.
Develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Pages, and Power Automate workflows.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems and data sources.
Utilize Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data storage platforms as back-end systems.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members and stakeholders.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Ensure adherence to Power Platform best practices, governance, and Center of Excellence (CoE) standards.
